Why do you have monthly billing?
Preseem has two components. The part that runs in your network is responsible for extracting network metrics as well as active optimization such as traffic shaping. The second part is a cloud-based back-end where all the data storage and analysis takes place. Running the cloud half of Preseem incurs significant ongoing expense both for storage and data analysis. Due to these recurring expenses, a monthly recurring pricing model makes sense. In the future, we may offer a CAPEX based approach with a higher up-front cost and lower monthly costs.
How do you calculate the number of subscribers to be billed?
Preseem is priced based on the number of subscribers the system manages. In the common case where billing integration is present, we simply count the number of unique billing entities. If there is no billing integration or other sources of subscriber identifiers, we bill based on the number of active IP addresses subtracting the number of IPs that are network devices (not subscribers).
What’s your cancellation policy?
We require 30 days notice of cancellation. Your service stops at the end of your subscription period or 30 days after the notice is provided, whichever is longer.
What currency do you charge in?
Pricing is listed in US dollars. If you’re located in Canada, please inquire about Canadian dollar pricing.
Is there sales tax?
If you’re in Canada, HST or GST will be added to your subscription amount, depending on your province or territory.
Are there any other costs I should know about?
No. We hate surprises too. That’s why Preseem has no upfront, technical support, licenses or annual maintenance costs. You just pay the monthly subscription fees as per the number of subscribers in your network.
